Freshman 15: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
My goal for this series is to cover 15 incoming freshmen that have a chance to contribute in 2022 or didn’t get enough love in the 2022 Devy Watch guide. Today, we’ll look at a WR who I ask not if but how early when thinking of where he’ll get drafted.
EJ Smith – To Be Or Not To Be?
It’s one thing to live up to the expectations of being a highly regarded recruit, but it’s another to live up to the expectations of being the son of a Hall of Fame running back. Emmitt James Smith IV, or E.J., enters the 2022 season with those expectations and more, considering Stanford went 3-9 in 2021 and needs Smith to put the team on his back.
Freshman 15: Damien Martinez, RB, Oregon State
Damien Martinez is a 3-star RB out of Lewisville, Texas. Oregon State was one of only five offers. He weighs in at a healthy 6′ and 228 pounds. He was fairly productive as a junior and senior in high school. He combined for 3,168 yards and 48 touchdowns in those two seasons. He also ran track and has an 11.37 100-meters time to his name. He enrolled early at Oregon State and has reportedly impressed everyone who has watched him.
Freshman 15: Jaydon Blue, RB, Texas
My goal for this series is to cover 15 incoming freshmen that have a chance to contribute in 2022 or didn’t get enough love in the 2022 Devy Watch guide. Today, we’ll look at a runner who falls into the latter category. I was too low on him a few months ago during the Devy Watch guide process, and now I’m trying not to overcorrect.
Freshman 15: Tobias Merriweather, WR, Notre Dame
My goal for this series is to cover 15 incoming freshmen that have a chance to contribute in 2022 or didn’t get enough love in the 2022 Devy Watch guide. Today, we’ll look at a WR who appears to have a high football IQ.
Freshman 15: Kevin Coleman, WR, Jackson State
My goal for this series is to cover 15 incoming freshmen that have a chance to contribute in 2022 or didn’t get enough love in the 2022 Devy Watch guide. Today’s player became somewhat of a trendsetter when he spurned 32 Power 5 schools to join Deion Sanders and Travis Hunter at Jackson State.
Freshman 15: Drew Allar, QB, Penn State
My goal for this series is to cover 15 incoming freshmen who either have a chance to contribute in 2022 or didn’t get enough love in the 2022 Devy Watch guide. Today, we’ll look at a player who many consider QB1 in this class.
Freshman 15: Antonio Williams, WR, Clemson
My goal for this series is to cover 15 incoming freshmen that have a chance to contribute in 2022 but didn’t get enough love in the 2022 Devy Watch guide. Today, we’ll look at an All-American wide receiver. A buddy of mine in South Carolina tipped me off to Antonio Williams long before he committed to Clemson.
Freshman 15: Jordan James, RB, Oregon
My goal for this series is to cover 15 incoming freshmen that have a chance to contribute in 2022 but didn’t get enough love in the 2022 Devy Watch guide. We’ll start with an All-American running back who played his prep ball at a local school that I’m very familiar with.
Previewing the 2023 Rookie Running Back Class
We have reached the point now in the fantasy football
Devy Watch Sample: Devin Brown, QB, Ohio State
We’ve locked in the top 100 prospects and pinned down
Devy Profile: Cameron Ward, QB, Washington State
There probably isn’t a player who was more hyped than Cameron Ward once he entered the Transfer Portal. 247sports sang his praises and college coaches hurled compliments at him(probably in hopes to land him). Ward is a 6’3″ 200-pound QB who transferred from Incarnate Word to Washington State, but who is he?
Devy Profile: Isaiah Neyor, WR, Texas
Isaiah Neyor is a name I’d heard, but I didn’t know much about him until he entered the Transfer Portal. Then he committed to Tennessee, and as a Tennessee hater, I had to see what the hype was about. USC, Ole Miss, and Texas were the other schools to offer him early.
Devy Profile: Andrew Paul, RB, Georgia
Andrew Paul is a 3-star running back prospect out of Parish Episcopal School in Dallas, Texas. As you can tell by the title, he signed with Georgia as part of their ’22 class. Paul was a Clemson lean for at least a month before choosing Georgia on National Signing Day. How’d he get there?
The Freshman 15: Ohio State’s WR Class
By now, we all know the quality of class that Ohio State brings in. The wide receivers that want to play for Brain Hartline make up a lot of those classes. Two years ago, it was Julian Fleming and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Last year, Ohio State added Emeka Egbuka and Marvin Harrison, Jr. This year, it’s the quartet of Kyion Grayes, Caleb Burton, Kojo Antwi, and Kaleb Brown.
2022 Devy Watch Sample (Brock Bowers)
If you’ve read anything I’ve written here, you’ve probably picked up on the fact that I love the tight end position. Since I was nine years old, I’ve thought the TE was a mismatch position if used correctly. I’m still convinced that I could lead a TE like Brock Bowers to a Heisman-winning season with relative ease.
2022 Devy Watch Preview (Bryce Young)
As we began working on the 2022 Devy Watch, we realized that it would look a little different and be released a little later this year. We don’t set a hard number for how many players to include, but it usually ends up around 300.
2021 Devy Stock Report – Biggest Risers and Fallers
With the college season now ending, it’s time to see who the biggest devy risers and fallers are this season. I have summarized each player and provided full stats, including analytics, to paint the picture of their potential draft capital.
Devy Players Who Disappointed in 2021
With another season coming to a close, I wanted to do a recap of sorts. Yesterday, I looked at players who were impressive relative to their devy ranking. Today, we’ll look at several players who didn’t live up to their expectations this season.
Devy Players Who Impressed in 2021
As we wrap up another year, I decided to take a look around the Devy landscape to see which players were most impressive and most depressing (tomorrow). I left out the elder players who improved their draft stock and focused on players with remaining Devy eligibility. I tried not to be too obvious with the list of players who impressed, but since we all pretty much know who was good, I kept it relative to their Devy expectations (either my personal ranks or the consensus).
Devy Profile: Jordan Addison, WR, Pittsburgh
From the age of 8 years old, Jordan Addison would tell his mom he was going to go to the NFL. He never ceased to make that dream come true, and through hard work and dedication, his path looks to be leading him to be playing on Sundays.

At this point in the season, we have a general idea of who these players are and how we value them. Draft capital is a great predictor of hit rate so this weekly stock report will focus on the players that will provide day one through early day three capital. Who will rise and who will fall, we continue to monitor and answer this question.

A Quick Look at TJ Finley
Bo Nix had successful surgery this week to repair a broken ankle that he suffered against Mississippi State last Saturday. For this first time in 34 games, he won’t start at QB for Auburn when the Tigers face South Carolina this weekend. Transfer QB TJ Finley will replace Nix as the starter. What will Auburn get from Finley against South Carolina and Alabama as the season comes to a close?
2021 Devy Stock Report – Week 11

Introducing the Class of 2025: WRs
It is never too early to start taking a peek at the upcoming freshman class…right? While we are smack dab in the middle of all four major sports going on at once, I didn’t want to forget about the players that are lighting it up on Friday nights as well! I will do a quick dive into each position group’s upcoming class and highlight some of the players that have been my favorite to watch thus far. We have already hit the QB and RB positions, so it’s time to finish things off with the WR position!
