The Super Bowl is wrapped up. The Senior Bowl has come and gone. And we finally got to see how these prospects fared at the NFL combine. This year was as entertaining as I can remember with a ton of impressive times. Naturally, this led to a ton of movement on boards and mocks. Time to jump in and see how things got shaken up!!

The Risers:📈📈📈📈📈

  • Travon Walker may be the biggest riser we have seen this draft season. He dominated the NFL combine and put his name out there with the other top EDGE prospects. Previously, there were many mocks without him on it at all. Now? He is being mentioned as a potential top 5 pick. We will see how things shake up, but it looks like he planted his flag firmly in the top 10.
  • Sauce Gardner was slowly working his way up draft boards ever since the CFB season ended. Now, it appears he will be the top corner off the board barring something surprising. The other thing to note, he could find himself as high as the top 5! Many teams that were looking at Stingley in the top 5 may now shift their focus to Gardner. That is still a bit too rich for me, but don’t be shocked if it happens!

The Fallers: 📉📉📉📉📉

  • Running backs seem to have been tossed to the side in lieu of these other top prospects. Some mocks had a running back, or two, sneak into the back half of the first. Now it is tough to imagine that happening. This class doesn’t seem as strong as many hoped, and I wouldn’t even be shocked to see them slip down the board in round 2 as well.
