Everyone should’ve cashed last week as we crushed the board and one of my plays went 5/5. Let’s see if we can follow that up with another good week. As always, pair these up as you see fit and play on whatever format you’re comfortable with — the biggest edge is on PrizePicks with their PPR Fantasy Points scoring, but you also have to pair up plays as a parlay and not everyone likes doing that. I try to shout out lines on DraftKings as well whenever possible if you prefer to play props there.

I’ll update this article with any plays that I add and post on Twitter (turn notifications on!) when I do so. It’ll likely be a lighter slate for me as I’m out of town for a wedding on Saturday, but I do have some time on Saturday morning and will likely throw more plays together at that time.

PrizePicks Fantasy Points

Mitch Griffis OVER 19.5 Fantasy Points

QB, Wake Forest

This glaring line on the board is the disrespect being paid to Wake QB1 Mitch Griffis. He gets a cupcake matchup against a terrible Vandy secondary that allowed 351 passing yards and 3 TDs against Hawaii in Week 0 and does not look improved after finishing 130th in EPA per Pass and 125th in Passing Success Rate a year ago.

Will Sheppard OVER 13.5 Fantasy Points

WR, Vanderbilt

Sheppard has been feasting early in the season, averaging 24.5 FPs. Both Wake and Vandy are better at throwing the ball than they are rushing and Vandy has a massive weakness in the secondary as outlined above. That means both passing attacks should have a good day and the Commodores will need to keep airing it out to keep pace with the Demon Deacons. We’re all just a part of Sheppard’s flock.

Evan Stewart OVER 14 Fantasy Points

WR, Texas A&M

He’s listed with a total of 66.5 receiving yards at both DraftKings and Underdog, which also looks like a solid number. Stewart is a stud and Petrino’s MO as the offensive coordinator is to get his studs the ball as much as possible. The Aggies have a good passing attack and should move the ball through the air against Miami.

Austin Reed OVER 320.5 Passing Yards

QB, Western Kentucky

Every week PrizePicks insists on listing Reed’s passing yardage prop too low. They did it last year as well and it was basically a free square. They’ve at least wisened up a bit this week as they bumped him up 15 yards, but it’s still too low considering he averaged 339 passing yards LY and might be even better this season. He cleared this number last week despite his clear WR1 leaving the game in the first half and his WR2 not playing. Malachi Corley is expected back for this game and both he and his quarterback should pad their stats against Houston Christian.

Deion Burks OVER 52.5 Receiving Yards

WR, Purdue

Graham Harrell’s WR1 has averaged 62-907-7 since 2017 and Burks looks like the next guy up after seeing 10 targets in Week 1 and exploding for 152 yards and 2 TDs. He’s listed at 51.5 across other sites (Underdog, DK).

Quinshon Judkins OVER 21.5 Fantasy Points

RB, Ole Miss

It’s a high bar to clear, but it’s that way for a reason. Judkins is a monster and faces a Tulane defense that lost its top 5 tacklers from a year ago. This game has a total of 66.5 and Ole Miss is expected to score pretty often so Judkins should have yet another productive day at the office.

Yardage Props & TD Props Available on Multiple Platforms

Rocco Becht UNDER 162.5 Passing Yards

QB, Iowa State

I don’t want to waste ink talking about offense in the Cy-Hawk rivalry, so suffice it to say that there won’t be much scoring, Iowa’s secondary is elite, and Becht might continue to split time with JJ Kohl.

Troy Franklin OVER 57.5 Receiving Yards

WR, Oregon

He averaged 15 yards more than this last year and should be more productive this season. Not a difficult matchup and the game has a nice total of 69, so there should be plenty of offense.

Jo’Quavious Marks OVER 79.5 RushingYards

RB, Mississippi State

Arizona ranked dead last in Rushing Success Rate last season and now faces an SEC team that wants to run the ball as much as possible at home with Marks being the featured back.
