With championship week upon us, it’s time to update the standings from our college football team draft back in late August. As a reminder, here are our rosters:

Greg: Ohio State, Oregon, North Carolina, Texas A&M, Coastal Carolina, Penn State, Louisiana, Washington
Brad: Clemson, Oklahoma, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Wisconsin, Miami, UCF, Iowa
Kyle: Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, Utah, USC, Boise State, Marshall

And we are still neck and neck on the scoreboard.

Brad 79
Greg 75
Kyle 75

Looking back, no one even considered drafting Michigan. A couple of us talked ourselves out of drafting Notre Dame. Those were two of our biggest mistakes so far. Louisiana and Iowa remained great late values as both won double-digit games and made their respective conference championship games. Of the 24 teams we drafted, seven made their conference championship game and only USC and Washington failed to reach bowl eligibility.

Kyle led the way with four head-to-head wins. Greg had three, and Brad had just two.

Kyle’s SEC-heavy approach paid off as he has both SECCG participants and is guaranteed points for the SEC Champion. Kyle (Utah) and Greg (Oregon) have a head-to-head situation in the PAC12. Greg has Louisiana playing this weekend, and Brad has Cincinnati and Iowa going.

As far as CFP participants go, Kyle has Georgia and Alabama still alive, and Brad has Cincinnati, but only Georgia is a lock for the tournament. Since no one was able to separate during the season, it’s going to come down to CFP performance, and maybe even a head-to-head semi between Georgia and Cincinnati.
