The Early Signing period is upon us and programs’ recruiting classes are beginning to take shape. There are a handful of programs at the top battling for the number 1 class. The usual suspects are there; Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, etc. But one of the more interesting battles/comparisons when it comes to this recruiting class is at WR. Ohio St and LSU have collected some impressive talent at the position leaving people to debate; which WR class is better?

Scouting Report: RB Jahmyr Gibbs

Starting off the season, Jahmyr Gibbs was way under the radar without many high-level offers, if any. He committed to Georgia Tech in May which was a solid get for the Yellow Jackets. But over the course of his senior season, things changed quickly. Gibbs exploded for over 2,500 rushing yards and 40 TDs on the ground! And since his sophomore year, Gibbs has added roughly 30 to 40 pounds without losing speed or athleticism. Since then, Gibbs has added offers from all the major P5 schools including schools like Alabama, Ohio State, and LSU.

Scouting Report: QB DJ Uiagalelei

DJ Uiagalelei is the top-rated Pro-style QB in the country and, for me, the top overall QB in my rankings. Physically, Uiagalelei is pro-ready standing at 6’4.5” and a strong 246lbs; essentially the size of Cam Newton at only 18 years old. Uiagalelei is an amazing blend of size, athleticism, and arm talent while having the ability to play like a traditional QB within the pocket.
