Draft season is upon us ladies and gentlemen! With the NFL Draft less than a month away, I thought it would be a good time to drop a full 7 round mock; with trades! But this year, I wanted to do it a bit differently. Instead of your basic 7 round mock where you scroll through pages of picks and find your team’s selections with relatively no commentary, I decided to break the mock up and do an article on each individual team’s haul! Giving you a breakdown of what each team brought in and how I think it could help. So without further adieu, let’s kick things off!

With the 56th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks select…

  • Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford(2nd round)
  • Victor Dimukeje, DE, Duke(4th round)
  • Dan Moore Jr, OT, Texas A&M(7th round)

As you can see, the Seahawks are another team that has seen their pick allotment get dwindled down to pretty much nothing due to multiple trades. Luckily for them, they have a ton of talent on the roster already and aren’t tied down by need.

With their first two picks, they address the defensive side of the ball. Paulson Adebo is a corner that was once projected to be a first-round pick and has the ability to be a lockdown corner. They also add Victor Dimukeje, an explosive edge rusher with good pass rush moves and the ability to be an elite rusher. Lastly, they add Dan Moore to help bolster their offensive line and potentially be a starting tackle down the line.

Unfortunately, this one is short and sweet due to the lack of picks the Seahawks have. But I think they make the best of what they do have with 3 players that could potentially by long-term starters for them.
