Every year around this time, we drop a couple of prediction articles. Today, we’ll give you our Heisman picks.
Brad
Pick: Matt Corral
Current Odds: +2500
Corral plays in the SEC where he and the Rebels have a chance to be a big story every week. They also have plenty of chances to win big games in 2021. In Lane Kiffin’s offense, Corral should put up a huge statistical season. If there is such a thing as a safe Heisman bet, it’s Spencer Rattler this year. It’s called gambling, though. At +2500, I’m just asking for a chance. Maybe, just maybe, Corral does big enough numbers to get to New York, then we’ll see what happens.
Clayton
Pick: Bryce Young
Current Odds: +1000
DJU would be my pick for the Heisman if not for Clemson’s cushy schedule. Clemson’s likely to be in a minimum of half a dozen blowouts, whereas Bama on the other hand, features in plenty of high-profile games. They’ll face noteworthy shootout affairs against the likes of Miami, Florida, Ole Miss, A&M, and LSU. Bryce will get every opportunity to put up massive dual-threat stat lines on national television, and while he may not look perfect, the wins and statistics should pile up for the young Bama passer.
