The accolades don't stop there. According to 247Sports, Arik Gilbert is the highest-rated tight end in the history of their service. As a senior, Gilbert caught 81 passes for 1,436 yards and 12 touchdowns through 13 games. He was awarded the Gatorade Georgia Football Player of the Year Award. The last three recipients of the award were Jamious Griffin, Trevor Lawrence, and Jake Fromm. Gilbert will hope his college career and future NFL trajectory will mirror that of Clemson's Trevor Lawrence.
