As the popularity of C2C and CFF dynasty grows with each passing year, it's critical to identify cheap assets to backfill our rosters and prepare for the future. I'm going to attempt to identify several players at each position that are highly unlikely to cost you much in trades and could potentially be available on waivers. Some of these names will be known and have been talked about by savvy analysts and players alike, but I'm doing my best to unearth several names that you may not be extremely familiar with. The players are listed in alphabetic order, by position, not by priority level. One other item of note, I care very little about a player's pro potential in C2C drafts. That changes some in the very early rounds of startup drafts, but the chances that you are picking a player that will be fantasy relevant in round ten or more is highly unlikely. The amount of players that achieve fantasy relevance at the NFL level is minuscule, and our collective abilities to accurately predict them are vastly overstated. I consider most players that grow into fantasy assets at the NFL level to be a bonus or a cherry on top. The greater emphasis one places on collegiate producers, the greater likelihood of actually making some money in that format. Many of these suggestions are lower probability bets, but the cost provides a potentially strong return. For full disclosure purposes, I have been able to roster 19 of these 21 players myself, so I am putting my money where my mouth is.
