The NCAA and DraftKings finally cut us a break this week and finally released game times and slate salaries respectively early in the week. This gives us more time to mull over top prospective players to target, games to stack, and one of my favorite aspects to analyze – cheap plays that can meet value and free up salary in your lineups. For the purpose of this exercise, we’ll mostly focus on sub-5k plays with a few exceptions.
The Halloween noon slate on DraftKings is an eerie hodge-podge of matchups this week. There are multiple complete cross-offs and not nearly as many games with sky high over/unders, as in previous weeks. As such, there’s likely to be a lot of variance in lineup scoring across contests. Now, obviously, I could just go off my ranks or our consensus ranks, but that’s not what this is about, nor would it be any fun for that matter. Many of these selections are players that I evaluated out of high school, had thought – that’s a future NFL fantasy producer – and have drafted them in my own Devy leagues as well…

First and foremost, it goes without saying that we absolutely feel for Justyn Ross given his recent diagnosis. For those who didn’t already hear, the rising Clemson junior wide receiver was deemed to have a congenital fusion in his neck/spine that he was born with. Surgery is scheduled for Friday, June 5th.
