Freshman 15: Damien Martinez, RB, Oregon State

Damien Martinez is a 3-star RB out of Lewisville, Texas. Oregon State was one of only five offers. He weighs in at a healthy 6′ and 228 pounds. He was fairly productive as a junior and senior in high school. He combined for 3,168 yards and 48 touchdowns in those two seasons. He also ran track and has an 11.37 100-meters time to his name. He enrolled early at Oregon State and has reportedly impressed everyone who has watched him.

Freshman 15: Jaydon Blue, RB, Texas

My goal for this series is to cover 15 incoming freshmen that have a chance to contribute in 2022 or didn’t get enough love in the 2022 Devy Watch guide. Today, we’ll look at a runner who falls into the latter category. I was too low on him a few months ago during the Devy Watch guide process, and now I’m trying not to overcorrect.
