The 2022 NFL Draft is officially over! The NFL schedule has finally dropped. We have all had time to sit and digest these things. So what better time for a WAY too early 2023 NFL Mock Draft right??

The 2023 draft is slightly different in the sense that there are two highly coveted QBs sitting at the top of the draft. Something we didn’t see in 2022. I know some mocks have been a little wacky in terms of the number of QBs thrown around, but in my eyes, these are the only two worthy of a top 5, or even top 10, selection. We saw in the 2022 draft, that teams were more than willing to pass on QBs with many first-round projected QBs falling well into day 2. Outside of Young and Stroud, the other QBs have a lot to do to vault themselves higher and it really is a crapshoot. At this point, I see many QB needy teams once again passing on the position and taking other talented positions.

Another position that is currently not a full consensus is the WR position. Outside of JSN and Boutte, there are a number of guys who could get drafted right after them, and the rankings are a little all over the place. For this mock, I went with a combination of guys I personally like, plus who I think would fit well with the team drafting them.

The RB position has once again entered the chat. RB in the first round has almost entirely gone away with no RBs taken in the first in 2022. This year, Bijan Robinson is the guy that will be hard to pass on in the first. Do I have him going too early? Possibly, but his talent is off the charts, and he can really change the dynamic of a team’s offense.

Without further a due, my first 2023 NFL Mock Draft!
